It has been awhile since I've done a review, even though I continue to enjoy some selection In the Stacks from this fine library most evenings before I nod off to sleep. The West Wing (complete series) is one of the finest productions I've indulged in as of late. The spot-on writing, the unbelievably deft cast, the exquisite sets all make for an exceptional viewing experience. I never had a chance to watch The West Wing while it was on TV, but I think I had the better time watching it now, in its entirety, without commercials breaking up the intensity. What a ride! So many pinnacles, so much substance that to dissect it would be more than is possible in this small blog space. I will leave you with my most favorite quote from Mrs. Landingham to President Josiah Bartlet "You know, if you don't want to run again, I respect that. But if you don't run because you think it's gonna be too hard or you think you're gonna lose, well, God, Jed, I don't even want to know you." That pretty much sums it up for me. Thanks Mrs. Landingham! And thanks to all the creative genius that made The West Wing the iconic experience it truly is.
