Read Across America

On Friday, March 2 we celebrated the birthday of Dr. Seuss and participated in "Read Across America" Day! We had guest readers including teachers from North Lake School, the Hartland Fire Chief, a THL board member, a Waukesha County deputy, staff from our library and our Bridges Library system! These guests brightened our Youth Services area with their readings of the books of Dr. Seuss.

We are continuing the theme of "Read Across America" in our Young Adult area with an opportunity to read a variety of books and win a prize. T(w)eens in grades 5 thru 12 are encouraged to pick up a form from the lower level and get reading!

Adults, while we don't have a formal program (this year), we do have a display of books that incorporate this theme on display in the space before the media room. Check out a few and learn about other parts of our country!
