The Lake Country Libraries Memory Project is a partnership between five public libraries in Waukesha County with a mission to provide programs to those affected by memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease, and other forms of dementia. A main component of the memory project is a monthly social gathering for those with early stage dementia and a care partner, called memory cafés.
Theme: "Stop and Smell the Roses". Learn about and enjoy flowers from florist Lisa Belisle of Flora Elements and take home your own arrangement. Refreshments will be served.
First-time attendees should contact the Alzheimer's Association of Southeastern Wisconsin, at 800-272-3900 to register for this FREE event. Regular attendees should contact the library directly.
