Sled Dogs!

Monday, February 25, 2019 | 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Lower Level - Youth Services Area

Contact Person: Stephanie Flessert, User Services

Door County Sled Dogs, an educational and dog rescue center, will bring 2 mushers, a few dogs and sled to our library to talk about dog sledding and the upcoming Iditarod.  This will tie in with our youth winter reading program, "Idita-Read".

The program is suitable for all ages and is free!

As Door County Sled Dogs is a non-profit organization, we are holding a donation program for them, collecting items needed to care for the dogs and monetary donations for the special medical needs of some of the dogs. We have a Wish List displayed by the Sled Dog displays on the main level and in the lower level, or check their website for the Wish List or to make donations online:  Door County Sled Dogs.

Space is limited so you need to register at the main desk, by calling 262-966-2933 or e-mailing: userservices@townhall.lib.wi.us.
