Cookbook Club: How to Make Pesto (Demo)

Nature Walk and Meditation
Saturday, August 10th, 10:45 AM – 12:15 PM
McBroom Room – Ages 16 +
Registration Preferred – Walk-Ins Welcome
Join Karmen Lehman, Meditation Facilitator, and Ms. Katherine as we go for a walk and pick up nature items that move us. Then we will walk back to the library to meditate while holding the object.
Cookbook Club: How can you improve your family recipes with cookbooks

New this Year
Paper Tracking Sheets: Paper tracking sheets are available at the adult services desk!
Overtime Log: After you have finished your reading for the summer, and would like to read more you may complete an overtime log.
Challenge 1:
How Many Books Can You Read
How many books can you read? One book, a couple of books, or a box of books? Then this reading challenge is for you! Read or listen to in any format, as many books as possible and log your books by July 30th, the three people who read the most books will win a prize.
Challenge 2:
How Many Minutes Can You Read
How long can you read? Thirty minutes, a couple of hours, a whole day? Then this reading challenge is for you! Read or listen to as many minutes as possible and log your minutes by July 30th, the three people with the most minutes will win a prize.
Prizes
- Each person who signs up will get a Town Hall Library tote bag with goodies inside, in either green or black.
- You can sign up online or register in person, paper tracking sheets are available at the Information Desk to use for all participants.
- In honor of the Summer Olympics, prizes this year will be given out in Bronze, Silver, and Gold bundles. All winners will be announced on Wednesday, July 31st at the End of the Summer Library Olympics from 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM. If you win and are not able to attend the event you will be contacted by the Library to come and pick up your prize.
