Friends of the Library

Become a Friend of the Town Hall Library!

Join more than 150 volunteers who sponsor our annual May Banquet, used book sales, staff gifts, the Leitgabel Herb Garden and the garden bordering the Library’s front parking area. The Friends have gone “over the top” with their generous support of library programming through special themed receptions. The Friends also maintain “Buy the Book,” the used book room located in the Library. Funds from the used book sales help sponsor Library programs and purchase items for the Library that go beyond the regular budget. Just added is the opportunity to donate and purchase gently used puzzles – all the pieces, please!

Members receive periodic mailings about special and volunteer opportunities. Be a part of this non-profit, tax exempt organization that works to support our Library.

Book Donations

Please note that donations of textbooks, VHS tapes or books that smell of mold or smoke will NOT be accepted. Donations of clean, gently used fiction or non-fiction books are gratefully accepted.

If there is a question of acceptability, please contact the Library Director for clarification before driving to the Library with your donation.

Monetary donations may be given by check written out to Friends of the Town Hall Library.
