Mission Statement:
The mission of the Friends of the Town Hall Library is to support the library through fundraising, advocacy, and volunteering.
Who is the FTHL:
The Friends of Town Hall Library is a group of volunteers who work together to promote and expand the programs and services of the library. They actively support the library’s mission, are a valuable link between the library and the community, and provide funding to enhance the quality of library services offered to North Lake residents and surrounding communities.

- Tom Harbeck Speakers Fund
- Buy the Book Room
- Bake Sales
- Staff Gifts
- The Leitgabel Herb Garden
- The Front Gardens
Membership & Donations
Your membership is a tax-deductible 501c3 charitable donation! Your gift may be given by check written out to Friends of the Town Hall Library.

Buy the Book Room
The Friends maintain the used book sale room located on our Upper Level. Funds from the used book sales help supplement Library funding to support additional programs and materials.
Suggested Prices:
- Paperback Books: $1.00
- Hardcover Books: $2.00
- CDs/DVDs/Blu-ray: $2.00
- Young Adult Books: $1.00
- Children’s Books: $1.00
- Puzzles/Games: $2.00
Book Donations
Accepted:
- New or gently used books
- New or gently used media
- New or gently used puzzles & games
Not Accepted:
- Textbooks
- VHS Tapes
- Damaged Items
- Items that smell of mold or smoke
If there is a question of acceptability, please contact the Library Director for clarification before driving to the Library with your donations.
